There’s a moment, often quiet and fleeting, that many of us know too well. You’re scrolling through Instagram, maybe just passing time, when suddenly she appears. That one girl who always seems to have it all.
She’s stunning—her beauty glows through the screen. Her laugh feels real, magnetic. Her career is blossoming. Her husband? Handsome, successful, present. Her life? Gorgeous home, sweet moments, effortless style.
It feels… perfect.
And suddenly, you feel it.
Envy.
That sticky, unspoken feeling that rises in your chest, that whispers, “Why not me?”
I felt this today.
This is not just a blog post; this is my lived moment. I caught myself comparing, feeling separate, and spiraling into stories I’ve been gently dismantling for over a year. And instead of shaming myself or distracting away from it, I chose to sit with it.
To give it space.
To feel it deeply.
As I gave this emotion room to breathe, I asked: Why do I feel jealous of her?
The answer came instantly: separation.
I was seeing her beauty, her abundance, her love—and I felt separated from it. I forgot, even if just for a moment, that I am of the same energy. That her having something beautiful doesn’t mean I’m lacking it. It means I’m witnessing what’s possible.
And that’s the illusion that envy tries to create: that there is distance between you and what you desire.
But if you truly believe in abundance, if you truly trust in God, Source, the Universe—then you must remember:
There is no separation.
Even the most conscious, awakened, and spiritual of us will feel jealousy at times.
That doesn’t make you unhealed.
It makes you human.
What matters most is what you do with the feeling.
Or do you choose to sit with it in love?
Because the real power lies in how you respond.
Not with shame.
Not with guilt.
But with curiosity, compassion, and truth.
Let me reframe envy for you, the way I’ve been doing for myself:
If you see something in someone else that you desire—a beautiful body, a dreamy marriage, a successful business, radiant joy—that’s a sign.
A good sign.
It means it’s already available to you.
You’re not just seeing it randomly.
You’re not outside of it.
You’re being shown what’s possible in your energy field.
The Universe is saying:
“This too is yours.”
But the ego—our protector, our fearful little self—gets scared. It says, “Not for me.”
It says, “She must have cheated, had surgery, got lucky.”
It builds walls where there should be bridges.
And when we fall into that, we actually push away what we desire.
Not because we’re being punished, but because we are affirming separation.
Instead, we need to say:
Healing envy isn’t about snapping your fingers and never feeling it again.
It’s like a muscle.
You train it.
You grow it.
Here is a practice you can begin using right now:
1. Pause and Witness
When envy arises, don’t judge it. Just breathe and notice it.
“I see you, jealousy. You are welcome here.”
2. Bless the Mirror
Bless the person you feel envy toward. Really send them love.
“Thank you for showing me what is possible. I bless your abundance.”
3. Affirm Your Truth
Remind yourself:
“I am one with all. What I see, I can receive. There is no lack in my world.”
4. Connect to Source
Ground yourself in divine love. Breathe into your heart. Feel your wholeness.
“God is my source. I am abundant, I am love, I am complete.”
5. Anchor the Energy
Journal what came up. Do a meditation. Speak affirmations aloud.
Keep anchoring this truth in your body.
Repetition creates reality.
If you truly understood your nature as divine, as Empress, as an extension of God, you would see that what you desire is already yours.
Envy is not the enemy.
It’s a signal.
A sacred invitation to come back to unity.
You are not too late.
You are not behind.
You are not missing anything.
You are the entire Universe in a human form, remembering her power one moment at a time.
Let’s close this post with a sacred prayer—one you can return to anytime you feel envy rise again.
Divine Source of All That Is,
I return to the truth of who I am.
I am not separate from beauty, from love, from abundance.
What I see in others is a reflection of what lives within me.I bless those who shine,
for their light reminds me of my own.
I bless the women who have what I desire,
for they are my mirrors, not my rivals.I surrender the story of lack.
I release the illusion of separation.
I step fully into my Empress energy,
anchored in love, wholeness, and divine timing.I trust that all that is mine is already here.
And even more is on the way.Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And so it is.
